Helpful Tip for a Seller

Your selling action plan.

• Understand why you are selling (see Why are you selling?). Once you know the "why", the "how" becomes easier.


• Prepare your property to sell (see Preparing your property to sell.). You want the potential buyer to walk away seeing your property in the best way possible.


• Find the right real estate agent for you (see Finding the right agent.).


• Understand the offer and negotiation process. Learn how to review and offer as well as putting together a counter offer so that you get what you want.


• Make sure the contract is accurate and complete. Don't let something you didn't disclose cause you to lose the offer. Have the buyers get a professional property inspection. This will protect both parties.
