BUYER/SELLER TIPS
Helpful Tip for a Buyer
What about the listing agent?
The listing agent represents the seller, thus they are looking out for the best interests of the seller. The listing agent's job is to get as high a price as possible and the best terms for the seller, not always in your (the buyer's) favor.
The listing agent is also required to tell the seller any facts that could influence the seller about accepting and offer or not, so be guarded in what you discuss with the listing agent.
Remember that you want the best price and terms for you, not the seller. If an agent isn't working for you, they might be trying to get the best deal for everyone involved but you.
